Russia has launched a large -scale air strike on Ukraine in the early hours of February 1, drawing a total of 165 missiles and drones of different types, the Ukrainian Air Force reported via Telegram.

According to Air Force preliminary data, 56 drones have been killed, while 61 other UAVs have not achieved their objectives due to technical failures or defensive measures.
Some cruise missiles have also been intercepted by air defense systems, and a large part has not achieved its objectives provided for by Ukrainian forces, according to the report.
However, Air Force has recognized that certain missiles, especially those who follow a ballistic trajectory, have managed to reach their targets. “We do not yet do detailed information on public enemy missiles,” said the report.
The Air Force condemned strikes, citing the attack on the KH-22 missiles against a residential building in Poltava and the strike of ballistic missiles on the historic center of Odesa as “yet another example of barbarism and terrorism of terrorism Russian leadership ”.
Russian forces have also targeted Ukrainian companies and energy infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi and kyiv.
During the massive attack, the Russian troops struck Kharkiv, killing a person and launched a missile in a several floor residential building in Poltava, killing seven and injuring 14. In addition, three police officers were killed in the region de Sumy following a Russian attack on February 1.
