While many has been said about the friendship between Robin Williams and Christopher Reeve, the link of the famous pair illustrates a very basic and instrumental type of kindness, according to Reeve’s daughter.
In a recent interview with CNN, Alexandra Reeve discussed the documentary “Super / Man: The Christopher Reeve Story” – which is broadcast on CNN this weekend – and developed the friendship of the deceased actors, which she compared to “more fraternity”.
“Super / Man” explores his father’s life and career before and after the 1995 riding accident which left him paralyzed with his neck and his inheritance of advocacy for people living with spinal cord injuries. The film highlights how Williams – the legendary and the funny improvisation deceased in 2014 – was the first person to make Reeve laugh at the hospital after his fall, dressing in scrubs and pretending to be a Russian proctologist.
“Their relationship has really shown what it is to be a friend for someone, which is to introduce yourself to important people in your life through thick and thin,” said Reve.

Alexandra Reeve, however, stressed that it is not necessary to be an actor tied with Williams to help someone challenge a smile or be there for them.

Alexandra Reeve shared that the two families remain intimately linked to date.
