The Eagles saw a few key players go down with injuries during Sunday’s win over the Rams and head coach Nick Sirianni didn’t have much news on either during a press conference from Monday.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts injured his left knee and made a brief trip to the sideline medical tent, but didn’t miss a snap. He said after the victory: “I finished the match” when asked how he felt.
Cornerback Quinyon Mitchell did not return after injuring his shoulder, but said after the game he thought he would be OK. Sirianni said the team will know more about both players in the coming days.
“We will have more information for you,” Sirianni said. “Obviously we’re still going through the process of the day here. I know these guys will do everything they can to be at the top of their game on Sunday. I have confidence in our coaching staff and I have confidence in these guys. We’ll see how it goes as this week goes on.
The Eagles will release their first injury report of the week following practice on Wednesday.
