NEW DELHI: British band Coldplay put on an unforgettable show at the sold-out DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Saturday, delighting fans with a performance that is nothing short of a cultural celebration.
In the presence of legend Sachin Tendulkar, singer Shreya Ghosal and other icons, frontman Chris Martin won the hearts of fans with his hit tracks.
To accompany the music, Martin captivated the audience with his humor and curiosity.

In one such incident, Martin then mentioned Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, which was followed by huge cheers from the fans.
“Wait, we have to finish the show because Jasprit Bumrah wants to come backstage to play,” Martin said.
Bumrah reacted to Martin’s mention at the concert on Monday, saying it made him smile.
For two hours in a packed stadium, Martin played hits like “Paradise”, “Viva La Vida”, “Adventure of a Lifetime”, “Yellow”, “Fix You” and “A Sky Full of Stars”, among others . .
Bumrah was recently named the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy Player of the Series after finishing with 32 wickets in the five-match series against Australia.
He also led the Indian team in the first and last Test.
During their India tour, Coldplay are next scheduled to perform in Mumbai on January 19 and 21. After Mumbai, they will head to Ahmedabad for two back-to-back shows on January 25 and 26.
