Eagles fans usually don’t need extra fuel to make noise during a home playoff game, but if they did, Rams rookie Jared Verse certainly provided some.
He spoke to Los Angeles Times before the NFC Divisional Round game and repeatedly expressed his dislike for the Eagles and especially the fans, directly saying, “I hate Eagles fans.”
Verse added: “They are so annoying. I hate Eagles fans.
The rookie defensive end said that was partly based on his interactions with them earlier in the season, when the Rams hosted the Eagles.
“I didn’t even do anything to them,” Verse said, according to the The times. “It was the first time I played. Oh, I hate Eagles fans.
Saquon Barkley was asked about Verse’s comments, and the running back admitted it probably wasn’t a smart move, saying, “He probably wouldn’t give them any extra fuel.”
“That’s probably not the smartest thing to say coming to Philly…It probably wouldn’t give them any extra fuel”

“When I see that green and white, I hate it,” Verse also told The times. “I’m actually upset. Like I was really hot.
Looks like Verse is going to be very upset on Sunday at the Linc, which will be filled with the color he hates and fans who will definitely give him hell.
