LOS ANGELES — Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Joni Mitchell are among an all-star group of musicians who will perform this month at a benefit concert for wildfire recovery and relief, the organizers announced on Thursday.
“FireAid” will take place Jan. 30 at the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles, featuring a number of artists with California ties.
Tickets go on sale at noon Wednesday via Ticketmaster, AEG announced. The money will be intended for short- and long-term aid, he said.
The Palisades and Eaton fires have killed at least 27 people and displaced tens of thousands. Los Angeles’ fire chief said it would be one of the worst natural disasters in the city’s history.
Millions of donations poured in after devastating fires destroyed approximately thousands of homes in Pacific Palisades and the Altadena-Pasadena area.
Steve Ballmer, owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, who play at the Intuit Dome, pledged $15 million. Other Hollywood and sports organizations and celebrities also donated, including Walt Disney Co., which committed $15 million.

The concerts will take place at the same time, and a ticket for one of them will not entitle you to attend both.
The event will also be widely distributed, organizers say, and will be shown in select AMC theaters.
It will also be streamed online or streamed on Apple Music and the Apple TV app, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudom, Paramount+, Prime Video and Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM, Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps and YouTube.
Donations
Contributions and donations to FireAid will be directed to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and distributed under the guidance of the Annenberg Foundation, which is a philanthropic foundation, according to organizers.
The money will be used for “short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fires,” its website says.
In addition to ticket sales, donations can also be made on the FireAid website.
