Rashod Bateman says he ‘hasn’t even scratched the surface’
Rashod Bateman’s breakout season was a big factor in the Ravens securing the NFL’s No. 1 offense in yards, and the fourth-year receiver said he’s just getting started.
“I haven’t even scratched the surface,” Bateman told Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. “There’s a ton of room to grow. I’m looking forward to it. I just feel like I’ve reset everything about my body and I’ve moved forward. Last year was my first year in good health, and this year was only my second. But this is my first year to be more involved in the offense. No matter how long I’ve been in Baltimore, no one has seen me this involved in the offense. offensive, that’s good, man. what I am, what we are there.”
Zrebiec noted the Ravens are 9-0 this season when Bateman catches a touchdown pass.
Bateman and Jackson had lacked on-court connections in recent years, but that hasn’t been the case this season.
“This year we finally got it done. But we both understand,” Bateman said of he and his quarterback, “there’s a lot more for us to do.”
