Four major fires caused the most damage: the Palisades, perhaps the most high-profile area, where fires destroyed more than 5,300 structures; the Eaton fire in the Altadena neighborhood, currently the deadliest, with the most deaths; the Hurst Fire, a relatively smaller conflagration; and the Kenneth Fire in the West Hills neighborhood, which has been fully contained since January 12.
Among those affected by the fires are Los Angeles’ most famous residents, celebrities who call Los Angeles home. While many stepped up and lent a helping hand, a good number also shared their fate.
