One of the stars of a Disney Channel show says he is being harassed at his new job, throwing ice cream, because of his previous arrest and conviction for interacting with a minor online.

Stoney Westmorelandwho played the grandfather on “Andi Mack,” ran to court to get a restraining order against a former neighbor who keeps showing up at the Cold Stone Creamery where Westmoreland works.

Stoney Westmoreland, alleged stalker

In the documents, Westmoreland claims the man lied about him to the store’s owner and manager, approached Cold Stone customers and told them he was a “child rapist.” He says he feels frightened by the man’s actions, which resumed just over the holidays.

Westmoreland says the man showed up at the ice cream shop and adjacent business on Dec. 21, 22, 26 and 27 — and warned people about the “unregistered child sex offender” who worked at the store.

He says the man is telling “lies about me and my legal history.” However, it is not clear from the documents which part Westmoreland considers a lie.

As we reported, he was arrested in 2018 and charged in Utah with enticing a minor over the internet. Prosecutors said he arranged to have sex with someone he met online who he thought was 13 years old.

He eventually pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and was sentenced to 2 years in prison. He now works in Los Angeles, but says he’s afraid his alleged harasser will become violent. He claims the man “was shaking like he was about to break down” when he showed up at the store.

Westmoreland is seeking a temporary restraining order that would require the man to stay 50 yards from his home and work, and cease all contact or harassment with Westmoreland.

The judge granted the TRO and scheduled a hearing in February for both sides to make their case.
