Sean Combs faces a new Jane Doe accuser who alleges the Bad Boy Records founder drugged and sexually assaulted her when she was a 16-year-old high school student returning home from a babysitting gig in Lower Manhattan in late August or early September 2000.
In his lawsuit filed Monday and obtained by rolling stonethe woman alleges that she was a part-time babysitter in an apartment building where “a well-known woman with whom the accused was in a relationship” also resided. The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan, does not name the allegedly famous woman. The complainant said she was leaving the building to go to her parents’ residence around the corner when she encountered Combs sitting in an SUV with the door open.
“Combs engaged in a conversation with her, asking where she was going so late at night and that it was unsafe for her to walk alone,” the lawsuit claims. The complainant says she told Combs she lived nearby and would be fine, but Combs allegedly persisted and convinced her to get into his vehicle.
“Getting into Combs’ car that day was something Plaintiff would regret forever,” the lawsuit states. “During the journey, the complainant got scared when they did not drop her off at home as promised. The accused gave her something to drink to “calm her down”. She quickly became groggy and unsteady.
The woman alleges a driver and another man were in the vehicle with Combs at the time. The men are identified as John Does in the new lawsuit. The lawsuit says Combs and the other men drove the teen to a location “where plaintiff was raped by Combs.” It reads: “She was eventually taken home and left in the lobby of her building by the same driver. »
The plaintiff claims she grew up in New York and was a student at the Museum School at the time. The new lawsuit comes after at least 40 other plaintiffs sued Combs over the past 16 months over allegations of sexual assault or other sexual misconduct.
In a statement, Combs’ legal team denied the woman’s claims. “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it will not change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone – male or female, adult or minor,” the team said legal in a previous press release shared again on Monday. . “We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, there is a fair and impartial legal process to uncover the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court. (The woman’s attorney, Michael F. Rubin, did not immediately respond for additional comment.)
The deluge of civil lawsuits against Combs began when his former partner Casandra “Cassie” Ventura filed her graphic sex trafficking complaint in November 2023. Combs settled with Ventura for an undisclosed sum within 24 hours, but her 35-page complaint , now the heart of the criminal prosecution of the music mogul in New York, has opened the floodgates. Combs’ homes were raided in March 2024, and in May CNN obtained and released the harrowing hotel surveillance video showing Combs throwing, kicking, stomping and dragging Ventura down the hotel hallway InterContinental Los Angeles. After initially denying Ventura’s allegations against him, Combs released an apology video related to the incident, admitting that his “behavior on this video is inexcusable.”
Combs, 55, was indicted in September and has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He was arrested in New York on September 16 and has been detained since. He is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His trial is scheduled for May.
