From the Pro Football Hall of Fame:
In the next step in the process for players, each member of the 50-person Hall of Fame selection committee will review the list above and vote on the 25 nominees who each believes should advance to the semifinals. The names of the 25 semi-finalists (plus ties, if any, for 25th position) will be announced in approximately five weeks (starting October 22).
Ultimately, 20 finalists will be presented at next year’s annual selection committee meeting before Super Bowl LX: 15 modern-era players, three seniors, a coach and a contributor. Although there is no set number of enshrinees for each class, the statutes of the Hall of Fame selection process state that between four and eight new members will be selected.
In the next stage of the coaching process, nine semi-finalists will be announced.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2026 will be enshrined next August in Canton.
