Giuffre accuses “titled” Andrew in posthumous bookpublished at 7:47 p.m. BST
Today’s announcement comes days before the release of Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, nearly six months after she committed suicide.
Excerpts from the book Nobody’s Girl were published in the Guardian on Wednesday.
Her book, which calls Epstein a “master manipulator”, describes three occasions when she claims Prince Andrew had sex with her, including at Ghislaine Maxwell’s house in London.
It’s a further embarrassment for Prince Andrew, who reached a financial deal with Giuffre in 2022 and has always denied any wrongdoing.
Giuffre, who met Jeffrey Epstein through Ghislaine Maxwell, claimed she was one of many vulnerable girls and young women who had been sexually exploited by Epstein and his circle of wealthy connections.
The powerful friends are said to include Prince Andrew and the extract published in the Guardian recounts their meeting in London in March 2001, when she was 17.
Prince Andrew denies all accusations against him.
