“There’s nothing weird about it,” he said of his presence on set. “It’s just part of what we do, and it’s kind of a good thing. She cares so much.”
And he doesn’t hesitate to express himself either.
“Kids, they say exactly what they think, and she has a big opinion on everything,” he continued. “I love it and I care what she thinks. Even with casting, we’ll consider auditions together.”
Indeed, Lea is involved in Hollywood – and now Gigi is getting in on it too, even going so far as to audition for Rapunzel in Disney’s live-action production of Tangled.
Even though she didn’t get the role, “I was really proud of my scene,” the mother said. Khai5 (with Zayn Malik) said Vogue last month. “I knew they were going to cast a real singer.”
