Taylor Swift capped off an eventful week by sneaking into Arrowhead Stadium to watch Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.
Swift spent the week on a promotional tour for her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, as she traveled the world for appearances on a number of talk shows.
However, that didn’t stop her from returning to Kansas City in time for the Chiefs’ crucial game against the Detroit Lions, as they look to get back to winning ways.
During the first quarter, broadcast cameras showed Swift in a suite at Arrowhead, chatting with WNBA star Caitlin Clark and hugging her future father-in-law, Ed. This isn’t the first time Swift and Clark, a big Chiefs fan, have teamed up at a Kansas City game: They sat together last season for the playoff victory over the Houston Texans in January.
Swift was not seen entering the stadium Sunday night, following a trend of her sneaky entrances occurring during the 2025 season. She made a secret entrance in late September, for example, to watch the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens and television cameras did not notice her presence. It is believed her secret arrivals were the result of security fears, after she was recently targeted by a stalker who has since been handed a five-year banning order.
Kelce gave him something to cheer about in the first half Sunday night. At halftime, he had three receptions for 40 yards. He nearly scored a touchdown on the third catch, but ended up getting dropped on his head as he jumped over a tackle just a yard from the end zone.

Fans also got another glimpse of the dazzling engagement ring wrapped around Swift’s finger.

Another video emerged of Swift mingling with other guests in the VIP suite. She was seen greeting a Chiefs fan holding a baby who was wearing a “Kelce 87” jersey.
Meanwhile, Swift’s new album has got the world talking, and on Monday there could be even more to discuss amid reports of a “big announcement” set to take place.
Good Morning America announced “an exclusive Taylor Swift announcement” Monday morning and fans can’t wait to find out what it could be.
Swift’s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, has split fans’ opinions, with one track referencing Kelce’s manhood drawing particular criticism.
Throughout the song, lyrics explain how Kelce finally ended his unlucky streak in love. She too mentions his “magic wand” and details how “His love was the key/That opened my thighs.”
Speaking on Jimmy Fallon’s show, Swift explained: “So I took this into the studio and I was like, I want to do a retro song that sounds timeless and I had this idea of ’I gotta touch wood’ and it would be all these superstitions.
“And it really started in a very innocent place…I don’t know what happened, man. I got in there, we started vibing and I don’t know how we got there. But I love the song so much.
Kelce appeared to mock the uproar surrounding the song by showing up to the Chiefs game Sunday in a lumberjack outfit.

Clark, meanwhile, made her second NFL appearance in a week, having been spotted at an Indianapolis Colts game the previous weekend.
Clark and boyfriend Connor McCaffery were joined on the sidelines by fellow Indiana Fever stars Natasha Howard and Makayla Timpson.
Clark has been a Chiefs fan her entire life, despite being born in Indiana, as she has family who live in Kansas City.
She’s also a huge Swiftie and has attended several shows on the wildly popular Eras Tour, long before joining the WNBA.
Clark’s 2025 WNBA season was cut short by a groin injury, but the Fever still managed to reach the semifinals of the WNBA playoffs, where they fell to the Las Vegas Aces last week.
