Apple ends support for video editing app Clips

Apple has finally decided to pull the plug, removing Clips from the App Store. The company also updated its support page to clearly state that “the Clips app is no longer updated and will no longer be available for download to new users starting October 10, 2025.” If you’ve already downloaded the app, you can continue using it on iOS and iPadOS. But it might also be a good idea to save videos directly to your photo library. The support page explains exactly how to do this, with and without effects, so that if Clips stops working because of an OS update, you won’t lose your videos.
