‘9-1-1-Est Oliver Stark & Ryan Guzman on the manufacture of the cannon “Buddie”

Oliver Stark and Ryan Guzman were in Disney 9-1-1Who returns to ABC for season 9 in the fall.

Stark plays Buck and Guzman plays Eddie in the procedural drama. The actors are the center of fans theories, who hope that the characters will eventually become romantic. Although the writers have insisted that the characters are only friends, that did not prevent viewers from shipping “Buddie” and hoping to become canon.

“What I will say is that if the story goes in this direction, I do not think that the way of doing it is only to give in to dance,” Stark told Deadline. “I hope that if it goes, it’s done because it’s the good story to tell and it is the good progression for the characters.”

Stark does not “want to do it only as a fans service”, although he believed that fans “would feel served” if “Buddie” became a reality on the Drama ABC.

“So I hope that this is not a case to give in as much as the natural progression of history,” added Stark.

Buck de Stark identifies as bisexual and was involved in a gay relationship with Tommy by Lou Ferrigno Jr., while Eddie de Guzman identifies as heterosexual, for the moment. Fans fans say that if Buck and Eddie were heterosexual, of the opposite sex, the writers would have already explored a romantic relationship.

Guzman also assessed whether the writers should give in to the spectator’s hopes for their characters, saying: “I think we have something so authentic with what we have already established. And I think the character of Oliver said it several times. It’s like, why can’t we be friends, brothers. I think right now that it is like that. ”

“I understand perfectly where fans win this from it and they have created their own tradition,” added Guzman. “I see so many different things. I see interpretations of the show where we are all like friends, characters and stuff. I love it. They are so categorical on their version of 9-1-1. “”
