8BitDo has announced a brand new “NES40 Collection” of products that incorporates an Ultimate 2 Bluetooth controller, a 68-key retro keyboard, and a rather attractive Retro Cube 2 speaker.
The new lineup, which is now available for pre-order on 8BitDo’s official website today, certainly looks great, and it manages to add some nice little touches to a lineup that sticks with the look and feel of the company’s previous “Retro” offerings.
The keyboard (which this writer 100% gets) is Windows and Android compatible and is expected to be released in early 2026. $499This is certainly an enthusiast type affair, taking the excellent retro design of their previous offerings and adding a very stylish aluminum alloy shell, as well as some nice details and a fancy pouch.
It also comes with those super cool turbo buttons that we’ve loved since we bought our first 8Bitdo retro keyboard.
The Switch 1 and 2 compatible NES40-themed Ultimate 2 controller, which follows the company’s Bluetooth Pro 3 controller in including TMR joysticks and Hall effect sticks, is releasing on November 15, 2025and also looks very stylish, as you can see below.
Ready to retail at $79.99it also comes with a bunch of interchangeable controllers, a keychain, and a few other items. Yeah…looking at these photos, we’ll probably need one too.
The final part of the collection is the Retro Cube 2, a small portable speaker that is an upgraded version of its predecessor and connects via Bluetooth, 2.4G and USB.
The speaker uses a D-pad design for its controls, which is pretty cool, and has its own charging dock to boot. This happens to $49.99and will be released on 1December 2, 2025.
The 8BitDo collection is available for pre-order later today, and you can visit the official website to pick up yours if it tickles your fancy.
