The final of season 3 of “The White Lotus” is upon us and, of course, there are wild theories floating around the Internet that can happen during the Sunday’s final.
Some of these theories brought plots in its own right, others are simply ridiculous, and the rest can simply relax. Anyway, all are constantly entertaining, giving viewers something to speculate before the end of the final.
Here is just a conjecture to dive while we are reluctant to discover the White Lotus Resort & Spa in Thailand on Sunday.
There is a contingent of viewers who speculated on a touch inspired by “Star Wars” with regard to Jim Hollinger (Scott Glenn) and Rick (Walton Goggins) since he became clear that Rick had been particularly interested in Sritala’s husband (Lek Patavadi).
Rick confronted Hollinger at his home during last week’s episode, but what was left out is Hollinger’s explanation on what really happened or how they are linked, at least according to him. As the theory says, the final will make more fence for Rick with Hollinger the following at the complex to draw a Dark Vader style declaration “Rick, I am your father”.
Since the very first episode, people online have speculated that the monkeys often seen in the ambient photos of the nature of Thailand are to be blamed for the ultimate shooting tanned in the opening scene of this season. While many appreciated the theory, actress Michelle Monaghan, who plays Jaclyn Lemon in the series, demystified her last month during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Where she said: “The monkeys did not do it!”
It seems that creator Mike White leaves humans for fire.
This is another theory that floated since the first episode, when the staff member of the PAM hotel (Morgana O’Reilly) warned the Ratliffs not to eat the fruit around the bridge of the swimming pool of their Villa hotel because it is toxic. This is a subject that has since held conversations on the online show, each passing episode leaving viewers wondering when these annoying poison fruits can come back into play – in particular with the obsession of Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger) to make a noisy and daily smoothie.
Based on the promotion of the final episode, it seems that Timothy (Jason Isaacs) has toxic fruit in hand while asking Pam to remind him of his dangers. Is it a disturbing prefiguration or a red herring? Anyway, pay attention to what you swallow.
In one of the most memorable scenes in Victoria (Parker Posey) at the start of this season, she shamelessly snubbed the gossip merchant known as Kate (Leslie Bibb) after she recognized her from a Baby Shower La Pair to Austin. Victoria barely marted in Kate, who approached the Ratliffs during a meal, making the exchange extra clumsy.
It looks like one of these loose ends which must still be linked, and that there is a reason to establish this connection. Maybe Kate connected with their joint friend in the station to tell her that she met Victoria in Thailand? Remember that the Ratliffs do not have their phones, so they are not (apparently) aware of the financial misfortunes of the state of Tim, but Kate and Victoria’s Mutual Friend at home may have heard.
Will this come back to bite Tim, knowing that his location could be compromised so that the police are getting involved? Or will Kate be the only one to inform Victoria of allegations against her husband?
The Piper scenario (Sarah Catherine Hook) on the desire to stay in Thailand is a reminder of season 1, when Quinn Mossbacher (Fred Hechinger) ended up staying in Maui while the rest of her family made his return trip.
It was difficult not to think of Quinn after Piper revealed his monastery master plan to stay, but with these photos of naked housing districts and apparently non -edible food during his night at the center of meditation, that raises the question of whether Piper is really ready for engagement without frills. Especially after her confusing reaction to Lochlan (Sam Nivola) wanting to stay abroad with her, it seems that Victoria’s prayers can be answered and Piper will return home in North Carolina.
Put your aluminum paper hat because here is a Doozy. Some have hypothesized that the director of the hotel, Fabian (Christian Friedel), rejected Belinda’s concerns about Greg / Gary because the two men work harmful together, but this new theory suggests the contrary.
The costume designer “White Lotus” Alex Bovaird said in a recent interview that she had dressed characters – including Fabian – in costumes designed by Thai brand Jim Thompson. Legend has it that the namesake of the brand was a textile factory owner in Thailand, as well as a CIA spy, and he mysteriously disappeared in 1967. Bovaird has teased that this connection has a meaning in season 3, and some tolls think that Fabian is this thread. The theory is that Fabian works with the authorities to eliminate Greg / Gary, which could offer an alternative explanation on the reason why Fabian was so quick to reject the very legitimate concerns of Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) about him. The director of the hotel / the spy probably handled him, ok?
We are just as stressed about this theory as you, but it must be said: earlier this season, Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) was bitten by a poisonous snake and was the victim of the flight of the hotel shop. She brushed death twice and even said it, “bad things come in three.” Let’s just hope that the third bad thing is not Chelsea floating in the water near Zion (!).
