For a few years, I went out with (and I practically lived) a man who had a severe tree allergy. I was sensitive to what he ate but I was not aware of the other risks, until he started to inspect the lists of ingredients of my beauty products. He wanted to avoid sharing drinks if I had used a lip balm with almond butter or anything, so I created a secondary routine for when we were together. It was easy to find skin and body care products without nuts, but there was an exception: hand creams.
Although we are no longer together, I think of him – and all the other nut allergy people – when I read the list of ingredients in a hand cream. It’s damn almost impossible to find one! After paying dozens of ingredient lists, I found seven options that I would use, even if I am not personally limited by allergy.
Salt and stone hand cream
Salt and stone
Salt & Stone is the esope of the 2020s – the packaging is chic, the perfumes are divine, all the “it” people you know have in their bathrooms, and it will soon be everywhere else. The three perfumes (sandal and vector, bergamot and hinoki, and black pink and oud) are formulated without any nut oil – and yes, which includes omnipresent shea butter.
The non -greasy but deeply moisturizing formula hydrates with the squalane, soothes with algae extract and improves texture with niacinamide.
Avène Cicalfate Restorative Hand Cream
Avene
I have a frustrating and sensitive skin, and in its worst most inflammed moments, I have the comfort of knowing that there are famous products from Avène. When I was looking for marks with a hand cream in nut allergy, Avène appeared almost immediately.
Thanks to Zinc copper and thermal spring water, it is a particularly good option for people with chapped hands, peel the dry skin and eczema.
Palm Probiotic Hand Balm
Break
If you have not yet heard of palm, you are welcome. It is a rare brand specific to the hand card with the probiotic balm being its only hand cream. In addition to having a nut-free formula, it is also heavy on anti-aging properties. A combination of probiotics, grape oil and carthame oil gives it advantages in terms of improvement in elasticity, complexion and advantages of roughness.
