2 EAT: Fabulous fries

It was a brutal mission that we may never fully recover from, but somehow we managed to put together a list of the best fries in the Bay Area. You are welcome.

3 PLAY: Sacramento Sizzling

OK, maybe no one really describes our beautiful state capital as “sizzling” except in the middle of summer when it’s 150 degrees in the shade. But Sac-town is becoming a destination because of its vibrant food scene and fun activities. Honestly, we’re not making this up!

4 SEE AND HEAR: An opera for tennis lovers

There is an opera about Billie Jean King and the famous “Battle of the Sexes”? You bet your drop shot exists. And it’s playing out this weekend in the Bay Area.

5 PLAY AND EAT: What’s cooking at Oracle Park?

We don’t know how the San Francisco Giants will fare this season, but really, it doesn’t matter when the food offerings are so incredible (Dungeness crab noodles and David Chang’s OG chicken sandwiches, anyone?).

6 WATCH: Ripley Returns

Believe it or not, there’s a new adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s “The Talented Mr. Ripley” coming to Netflix this week. And yes, it’s awesome, fun and captivating.

7 WATCH AND LAUGH: Kathy Griffin Does Napa
