Donald Trump’s 6-foot-7 son Barron towered over his mother Melania as the couple made a rare appearance alongside the once-again presidential candidate for Easter brunch at Mar-a-Lago on Sunday.
Barron, 18, and his 53-year-old mother were noticeably absent from former President Trump’s campaign trail, but appeared at his Palm Beach, Fla., estate in Sunday best for the holiday festivities.
The photos show Barron dwarfing his ex-model mother Melania, 5ft 9ins tall, who looked stunning in a long white Alaïa dress and pale pink stilettos. Barron sported a festive yellow tie, which matched a special Easter version of the iconic “Make America Great Again” trucker cap worn by his father, who said he was 6’3″, in a video posted on x.
“When grandpa wears Easter MAGA,” wrote Lara Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law and co-chair of the Republican Party, in a post that included a video of Donald kissing his grandchildren Eric Jr., 6 years old, and Caroline, 4.
The video, set to a version of the Temptations’ “My Girl,” appears to have been filmed at Mar-a-Lago and shows the former president ditching his standard suit and red tie for a casual white polo shirt with his name emblazoned on his left pocket.
In a separate video from the golf club’s Sunday brunch, Barron and Melania appeared engaged in conversations at a long table as Donald stood nearby and spoke to former presidential candidate and North Dakota governor Doug Burgum.
The family’s appearance came shortly after Trump posted a vicious Easter greeting to the people at the Justice Department who prosecute and oversee his four current criminal cases.
“Happy Easter to everyone, including the crooked and corrupt prosecutors and judges who are doing everything possible to interfere with the 2024 presidential election, and putting me in jail, including the many people I completely and utterly despise. totally because they want to destroy America, A NOW FAILING NATION, LIKE JACK SMITH “DISTERNED”, WHO IS EVIL AND “SICK”, MRS. FANI “FAUNI” WADE… AND LAZY ON ALVIN BRAGG VIOLENT CRIME…” he wrote in an article on Truth Social.
“HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE,” Trump added.
The former first family was last seen publicly together at the funeral of Melania’s late mother, Amalija Knavs, in January.
