5 spring style trends in Los Angeles, by writer in California

We have spring early in Los Angeles. At the end of January, our temperatures were in the 1940s at the lowest and maximum somewhere by around 65 degrees. Because of this, I not only had months to transition my wardrobe in the spring, but also for a time to see what trends stick – and I am happy to announce that Capris are not one of them.

Generally, the style of Los Angeles can be better described as relaxed cooling. Even in beautiful dinners and fashionable bars, you will see baggy jeans, oversized outdoor clothes and probably a hat or two. The relaxed is the way to Los Angeles, so it is logical that the hottest items of this season are things that you can wear every day. Below, buy the five styles I see in rehearsal, including elegant sneakers, comfortable pants and an unexpected version of this year’s computer bag.

While large sneakers have a moment in New York, we are always very in elegant and rationalized sneakers here – the thinner, the better. For Samba Girl, I would recommend the Adidas Tokyo sneakers. Since they are of the same brand, they are available in some of the same colors – like classic white or daring pink – but offer a leaner silhouette. Puma celebrity’s celebrity Speedcat Speedcat continues on a trend, but I also like this blue pair ready for the spring of Sam Edelman and the Green Daim version of Larroudé.

Traction pants may not have the reputation of being chic, but Socal girls know how elegant comfortable pants can be. The key is to find a beautiful material and a windy silhouette. The Cool Laura Harrier girl may have wore my favorite pair – the silky gala pants of the Row – and I found similar luxury styles (which are much more affordable!) Reformation, Banana Republic and J.Crew. But if you want something a little lighter for the end of spring and summer, you can hang linen styles with Gap and Nordstrom.

During a recent walk, I saw an outfit that I immediately wanted to copy: excellent straight leg jeans, a slightly oversized suede blazer and a hobo bag in the same luxurious material. The next morning, when I opened my laptop, I saw Nicole Richie carry the same style (hers was that of Michael Kors). While the Slushy shoulder bags have been tending since last year, suede versions have made waves unexpectedly this spring. This rich appearance accessory instantly raises an outfit as simple as jeans and a white t-shirt, so I am, of course, all. Some of my favorites include the small version of the Viral Brooklyn Brooklyn bag, this $ 150 style of JW Pei and the Vince Camuto handbag which has a knotted strap.

I certainly do not store my long trench for good, but I am ready to add the more practical style that I saw again on my wardrobe: a short and spacious jacket with a crispy collar. The style is a little more every day than a complete mantle, which makes it the perfect topper for jeans and a set of T-shirt or training. For my Trench-Voyalist comrades, I love this $ 48 style that you can enter on Amazon. For something cooler, you can’t go wrong with this Banana Republic Factory vegan suede style which is in double reduction or leather bomber in topshop false. But if you like your a little more classic outdoor clothes, I would recommend this Urban Outfitters barn jacket or the Khaki flight jacket from J.crew.

If you are not familiar with Jane Birkinify your bag, it is the act of covering your daily accessory in charms so that the style looks more like you. This is one of my favorite trends from last year, and in Los Angeles, it’s always going strong. The cherry charm of the coach is the style I see the most, but that of the Tulip of Vera Bradley feels particularly perfect for spring – although I am also obsessed with these artists and pearl craftsmen.
