A Brazilian automotive influencer, Ricardo Godoi, died in the middle of a procedure to get a back tattoo.
The news was announced on his Instagram account on Monday, January 20, where Godoi had more than 200,000 followers.
“Today we say goodbye to Ricardo Godoi, an incredible person who left his mark in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him,” reads the message translated from Portuguese.
“His joy, his generosity and his light will remain present in our memories and in each story he helped to build. May he rest in peace. »
The influencer reportedly hired a tattoo studio to give him a tattoo all over his back, which they chose to do by placing him under general anesthesia at a hospital in the state of Santa Catarina in Brazil.
Hours before his death, Godoi informed his supporters about the procedure and promised to return with them once it was completed.
However, he ended up going into cardiac arrest and died at midday on Monday, according to the Instagram post.
