4,153 Stolen Lego Sets Worth More Than $200,000 Found in Oregon, Police Say

A three-month investigation resulted in the recovery of 4,153 stolen Lego sets worth more than $200,000 in Eugene, Springfield police said this month.

Brick Builders owner Ammon Henrikson, 47, is suspected of knowingly buying stolen building sets to resell in his store. Reached by phone Sunday, Henrikson referred questions to his attorney, John Kolego, who did not immediately respond to an email.

No charges have been filed against Henrikson in Lane County, according to online court records.

But police said in a July 9 news release that Henrikson allegedly purchased stolen devices at Target, Fred Meyer, Barnes & Noble and Walmart from people who then used the money to buy drugs.
