The majority of the seats were already disputed in the Lok Sabha elections with only three additional phases before the results were announced on June 4. Half of the elections already spent, political leaders play their cards with caution.
Among them is the Supremo of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the chief minister of Western Bengal Mamata Banerjee who probably obtained a puff in the way the result could take place. On Wednesday, Banerjee made a big announcement on the next stage of his party during the current elections, which created undulations among the political circles.
Last year, all the main political parties of the opposition formed a great alliance called the Indian block. At the beginning, the block seemed promising, with leaders such as Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal and even Mamata Banerjee, presenting the strength of the unit which had a key goal in mind: defeating the BJP and advancing the country jointly.
As the days progressed to the elections, cracks developed in the alliance. While other political parties have been found contributing to the rift within the India alliance, TMC has many times that it is on its support for the block.
In his last one, Mamata Banerjee said that TMC would support the Indian block of “outside”. However, this is not the first time that TMC has moved to its decision to support the great alliance.
The Western Bengal, which has 42 constituencies, questions the seven phases of the Lok Sabha elections with key leaders of TMC, BJP, Congress and CPI (M) in the fray.
‘Will support India from outside
“The BJP claims that it will win 400 seats, but people say it will not happen. The whole country has understood that the BJP is a party full of thieves. We (TMC) will support the Indian block from the outside to form a government in the center. We will extend our support so that (west) of Bengal, our mothers and sisters are never confronted with a problem … and those who work in the 100 -day employment scheme, are not confronted with problems “Said the chief minister of Western Bengal on Wednesday.
The candidate of the Behrampore Congress of Western Bengal Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, who had once urged voters to vote better for the BJP that the TMC, “said:” I do not trust him. She left the alliance and fled.

The congress invariably took the majority of blows in such cases, being the largest national party of the Alliance. Although TMC and the great Old Party are disagreement in Western Bengal for a long time, gathering them for the Alliance hoped to bring a little calm.
“ Do not waste the vote on the congress ”
Mamata Banerjee thinks that the vote for the Congress and the Communist Party of India (Marxist), which are both part of the India alliance, would finally benefit the BJP by dividing the votes.
Air cleaning on his own comment on the support of the Alliance, Banerjee said on Thursday: “Many people have misunderstood me. We will be in the India block. I made an india block ”, urging voters not to vote at Congress or CPI (M).
In April, Banerjee made similar comments where she claimed to have “made” the India alliance. She also accused these parts of “joining BJP”.
“There is no Indian alliance in Western Bengal. I played a key role in the training of the India Alliance opposition. Even the name of the alliance was given by me. But here, in Western Bengal, the IPC (M) and the Congress work for the BJP, “said the head of the TMC.
While Banerjee shares a decent relationship with Sonia Gandhi, the chief was constantly attacked by senior leaders of the Congress in the State, notably Chowdhury and Abdul Mannan about the governance of TMC.
The numerous cases of corruption in the state under TMC, including the scam of the staff selection commission (SSC), have become a focal point this electoral season. The Congress and the ICC (M), the two main opposition parties of Western Bengal have not failed to criticize the party led by Mamata Banerjee for having taken the development of the State to a new hollow by committing crimes.
TMC fights alone
Earlier this year, Mamata Banerjee announced that her party would dispute the 42 seats of Western Bengal only, one of the first signs of the party which suppresses the Inda alliance.
His reason? The Congress “refused” all the proposals for sharing the seats in Mamata. “Whatever proposal I made to them, they have refused everything … Since then, we have decided to go alone to Bengal,” said Banerjee.
In response to its complaint, the Congress said: “The Indian National Congress has repeatedly declared its desire to have a respectable agreement to share seats with the TMC in Western Bengal. The Indian National Congress has always argued that such an agreement must be finalized by negotiations and not by unilateral announcements. »»
The apparent disagreement on the sharing of the seats comes from the previous battles of Mamata with the Congress. The chief accused the great old party of “fighting her every day” in the past. She wants Congress to support regional parties as regional parties support and nothing less.
“I give you the support, but you fight against me every day. It should not be politics. It’s for everyone. If you want to get good things, then you have to sacrifice yourself too, in certain areas, “she said earlier.
“ Congress’ nyay yatra a strategy to appease Muslims’ ‘
When Rahul Gandhi launched his second rally in All-Indies, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Mamata Banerjee, said that it was one of the many ways in which Congress tries to appease Muslims.
She even said a doubt about the victory of the congress in the polls of Lok Sabha. “I proposed that the congress contained 300 seats (through the country where the BJP is the main opposition), but they refused to listen. Now they have arrived in the state to arouse Muslim voters. I doubt that they even get 40 seats if they have disputed 300. ”
The Yatra went through Western Bengal and for Banerjee, the campaign was a “simple photo opportunity” for “migratory birds” in the state.
