4 New England Destinations Named Best for a Girls Getaway

Ladies, four New England destinations are perfect for a relaxing weekend with your BFFs, according to Good Housekeeping.

The publication recently released a list of the 25 best weekend destinations for girls and included Boston; Nantucket; Woodstock, VT; and Watch Hill, R.I.

In Boston, your girl squad can book a stay at the Whitney, a Beacon Hill boutique hotel offering two-bedroom suites perfect for your tribe, wrote Good Housekeeping.

“Gather your girlfriends and shop in the cute local boutiques of Newbury Street, then grab a latte at one of the neighborhood’s trendy cafes,” according to the publication.

On “idyllic” Nantucket, the Nantucket Hotel & Resort offers both suites and cottages for your crew and the girls can enjoy “morning runs along the beach, strolls on historic cobblestone streets, and strolls on the beaches of white sand,” the publication writes.

In Woodstock, where “colonial character meets New England countryside,” your group can relax at the Woodstock Inn & Resort, which offers both an on-site spa and cooking classes.

Finally, in Watch Hill, RI, which Good Housekeeping Considered “one of the most scenic destinations in the United States,” your friends can stay at the picturesque Ocean House and enjoy the shops, cafes, and beaches. Your team might even spot Taylor Swift, who owns a $17 million mansion there.
