The third generation panamera, launched in 2024, really seduced me thanks to its exceptional rechargeable hybrid transmission and one of the most impressive active suspension systems that I have ever known.

I recently spent a week to drive the E-Hybrid of Porsche Panamera Turbo 2025, which started at $ 195,700.

The most powerful variant, the turbo S, tightens 100 other horses in total of the same powertrain.

It is a large luxury sedan that leads like a four -door sports car with a very precise direction and a beautifully balanced manipulation.
A multitude of technologies, from the vectorization of torque to the direction in the rear axis, work together to give the hybrid of 5,300 lb a car of its weight should not have, effectively defying physics.
The piece of new out -of -competition technology is Porsche Active Ride, an electromechanical active suspension system that uses computer -controlled hydraulic shock absorbers at each wheel to counter the body roller and improve traction in the corners.

These days, the fastest luxury sedans tend to be electric vehicles such as the Plaid Tesla Model S or even the own Taycan of Porsche.
As fast as electric vehicles get, they simply cannot correspond to the drama and the presence of a finely become V8 Porsche. It is a reminder that the trip to your destination has as much as to get there.
But the panamera is much more than fast in a straight line.
It combines the power and handling of prowess of a Porsche sports car with the comfort of a German luxury sedan, the practice of an SUV and enough EV range to move in town without using fuel.
These are, in fact, four different cars wrapped in one.
For me, this price of $ 235,000 has much more sense now.
