’22 Kids and Counting’ mother Sue Radford escapes crash days after announcing break in filming

Sue Radford, mother of 22, revealed she was involved in a car accident on Monday.
Radford, 47, the mother of Britain’s largest family, told her 507,000 Instagram followers that no one was injured in the accident.
She wrote: ‘Not how I expected my day to go but luckily everyone was fine. The car is not, but it is only metal and can be sorted.
She thanked passers-by who checked on her after the accident and confirmed that she did not have her children in the car.
Radford and her husband Noel, 52, star in a popular reality TV show, “22 Kids and Counting,” which was recently renewed for a fourth season.
The accident comes after it was announced last Wednesday that the family would be taking a “well-deserved little break” from filming before the start of the new series.

Season 3 followed the Radfords as the UK prepared to go into lockdown.
UK viewers were introduced to the family in ’15 Kids and Counting’ in 2012, a series looking at how large families organize themselves and cope with ordinary chores.
Over the past 11 years, they’ve built up a steady following, amassing 359,000 subscribers and over 71 million views on YouTube, where they share vlogs, races and “challenges”.

Noel and Sue met when she was seven.
In 2019, in their Channel 4 documentary “21 Kids and Counting”, the narrator revealed that the then 42-year-old mother first became pregnant with Christopher “29 years ago”, which viewers said , would have made him 13 years old.
Her husband, five years her senior, would have been 17 or 18.
After marrying in 1993, they welcomed their second child, Sophie, when Ms Radford was 17.
More recently, Heidie was born in April 2020, at the start of the confinements.
