After months of speculation, the first choice of the NFL 2025 draft was made and the titans of Tennessee have a new face of the franchise.
A season of difficulties led the Titans to have the worst NFL record last year – giving them the first selection of this year’s draft.
Desperate for a quarter, the Titans chose a Gunslinger with the first selection, delighting their fans in Nashville.
With the first choice, the Tennessee selected the quarter-back from the University of Miami Cam Ward for the first time in the draft, held in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Surrounded by his family, Ward celebrated with his mother and father in the green room just out of the stage.
And then came the shock of the night.
Tennessee Titans selected Cam Ward with the first global choice of NFL draft

A few moments after Ward’s writing, the Jaguars exchanged to take Travis Hunter in second position
A few moments after the announcement of Ward’s selection, a massive shocking blockbuster of a job saw the Jacksonville jaguars go to the second overall choice.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Jags received the second overall choice, a choice of fourth round (n ° 104) and a sixth round (n ° 200).
In exchange, the Jaguars sent the fifth choice of the place as well as a first -round choice in 2026. They also gave the choice of Cleveland n ° 36 in the draft of this year and a fourth round (n ° 126).
With this choice, the jaguars have selected a bidirectional generational talent in the corner / wide receiver, Hybrid Hunter, outside the University of Colorado.
After Hunter, the New York Giants selected Abdul Carter – considered by some experts as the first global talent for the draft – with the third global choice.
It is a story in development. More to follow.
