She said that many Gen Xers may have been led to believe that wide pants would make them appear shorter or larger and that the Skinny jeans were the most flattering style, but it is time to let this notion go.

“We are all a little stuck in what we think we look good. Change is often a little intimidating,” she told Bi. In addition, the large -part silhouettes can look in fashionable and comfortable.

The two -piece athleist sets offer a relaxed but polished look in which all generations can participate – in particular generation X, said Stephanie Lees, a stylist who focuses on work with Gen X Women.

Lees also said that many of these more expandable and comfortable styles can be particularly appreciated by generation X, which was fighting to dress their body in the middle of the weight gain in menopause.

Some may hesitate to try this trend if they are not sure of the shape of their body or have not tried it before, but the stylist said that a tuck was worth experiencing.

“You always want to draw the eye upwards,” she said. “The upper drawing can balance the proportions.”

Many Gen Xers have prioritized purchasing clothes for office jobs over the years, accumulating a “work wardrobe” which they can integrate into their personal style, Welch said.

However, they should not have the impression of having to be in the luoks-cap all the time or cannot have fun with their look on leave.

Fortunately, Welch said, she sees more from the Xers generation moving away from a workplace centered, in particular those who pass to a different stage in life, such as retirement.

She said that this generation should be opened to reinvent their style and look for more fun and interesting pieces as they build their wardrobe.

Say goodbye to the suitable and short denim jacket, said Mackinnon. These jackets can be uncomfortable and, in some cases, seem not to adapt correctly.

Instead, try a more oversized denim jacket with a longer and more Boxian atmosphere. The stylist said the relaxed and loose silhouette was quite timeless, chic and much more comfortable.
