The young Italian was left in 18th, while Hadjar finished the session as a recruit of seventh place despite his absence in front of Tsunoda while Albon and Sainz finished the top 10.
Haas d’Ollie Bearman finished 12th in the return of Colapinto, who also went wheel with Verstappen during the session at the exit of Tosa.
Alonso was the main Aston Martin in 14th by Liam Lawson and Gabriel Bortoleto, the driver of Kick Sauber having released the red flag in FP1, with Lance Stroll 17th. Nico Hulkenberg finished in front of Esteban Ocon, with the Haas Driver Last and 1.127s of the session of the Piastri session.
