Owings Mills, Md. – Scottie Scheffler has again dominated the PGA Tour this season, but he will have a decent hill to climb outside Baltimore if he wants to win the BMW 2025 championship and claim the second floor of the Fedex Cup qualifiers. Sitting four shots behind the leader of 18, 36 and 54 holes Robert Macenty in the final round of Sunday, Scheffler will probably need help from the Scottish who will return to the field if he wants to win a rare victory to come.
Macintyre is held in pole position after turning the lowest scores of the cross day the first two laps while leaving a shot in Scheffler on the day of moving. He posted the lowest score of 54 holes in his career PGA Tour while looking for his first victory since the Scottish Open, 13 months ago. Ludvig Ã…berg did not organize an ideal season given the immense promise that the age of 25 showed last year, but he is probably the only other real competitor on Sunday at the Caves Valley Golf Club sitting five behind Macintyre.
