2024 NBA Draft: Value Picks, Questionable Moves, ROY Votes

Fifty-eight choices in total. Four French players selected from the first round. The first two-day event in NBA history. And with that and much more, the 2024 NBA Draft is officially over.

The first round at the Barclays Center saw the top four picks align directly with ESPN’s latest mock draft, including the Atlanta Hawks’ selection of Zaccharie Risacher with the No. 1 pick. Then, the Detroit Pistons created the first surprise by recruiting Ron Holland, prospect ranked No. 13 by ESPN, at No. 5.

Thursday’s second round saw a flurry of draft swaps and team trades, as well as college stars Kyle Filipowski, Tyler Kolek and Johnny Furphy leaving the board early. The second round also saw the selection of Bronny James to the Los Angeles Lakers with the No. 55 pick.

Who was the most profitable pick? Which team drafted the best class? And which players will be named to the All-Rookie First Team? ESPN draft analysts Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo have spent years studying the prospects for the 2024 class, and they’re here to fill you in on the most popular moves, the moves that were surprising, and give you some long-term predictions.

Givony and Woo explore the impact of this project by answering 15 questions:
