The highly anticipated 2024 NBA Draft is finally here. The first 30 picks in the draft were made Wednesday night ahead of the second round on Thursday afternoon.

The NBA Draft will become a two-day event for the first time in 2024. The second round, however, will not begin until 4 p.m. ET on Thursday. Both rounds previously took place on the same evening.

There are only 58 picks in this year’s draft after the 76ers And Suns had to forfeit second-round selections for tampering by free agents.

Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, is a 2024 NBA Draft prospect and is the most well-known name in the class. It’s unclear where Bronny will be drafted (if he is), but there has been a lot of speculation that the Lakers will use their second-round pick (No. 55 overall) to bring him to Los Angeles.

Here’s a look at the draft second-round ordinance.

When no one knows who the top prospect in a class is, it gives a wider variety of teams the opportunity to draft impact players. There may not be a prospect of Victor Wembanyama’s caliber in the 2024 NBA Draft, but there will be a significant infusion of talent into the league this week.
