The fire which broke out in Saint-Goazec on Wednesday June 7 around 4:30 p.m. was brought under control around 10:40 p.m. The 200 firefighters mobilized were supported by a water bomber helicopter. The first assessments report 5 to 6 ha of wooded areas swallowed by the flames.
