Regarding your hair dyeing, there is no unique technique. Highlights, lowlights, shaded and even more – with so many options, it can be difficult to determine which one is best to achieve the appearance you want. But a technique that has proven to be a basic trend is scanning.
“Balayage is a technique of hand -free hair color which creates a natural and bubbling effect of the sun,” explains the stylist and owner of the second floor show, Rogerio Cavalcante. “Unlike traditional protruding facts that use leaves for a uniform look, Balayage implies a color of hand paint on the hair for a softer mixed result without difficult lines.”
Because there are no hard lines, the look can last longer, which means less trips to the living room. “(IT) allows more natural growth, making it a lower maintenance option,” adds Cavalcante.
When it comes to making an appointment, it is important to find a colorist whose work you admire. “Balayage is an art,” explains Cavalcante. “Look for a stylist with experience and a work portfolio to make sure they can make the appearance you want.”
Tiffanie Richards, Master Colorist and Blonde Expert in the Louise O’Conner show, says that because of the process, it is important to be open to the results. “Of course, we always want you to go with exactly what you want, but Balayage is a very artistic application. It literally paints on a canvas in motion,” she said.
