2 Reportedly Found Dead In Plane Landing Gear

Two people were reportedly found dead in the landing gear compartment of a recently parked JetBlue plane at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida.

According to Fox 35 Orlando, the discovery of the two people was made on the evening of Monday, January 6. According to the outlet, a JetBlue spokesperson revealed that the individuals were found “during a routine post-flight maintenance inspection of the aircraft.” »

“This is a heartbreaking situation and we are committed to working closely with authorities to support their efforts to understand how this happened,” the spokesperson was quoted as saying.

The flight reportedly arrived at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport after taking off from John F. Kennedy International Airport. Furthermore, the plane’s departure would have taken place around 8 p.m. the same evening.

According to CNN, the plane landed at the Florida airport around 11:10 p.m.

“A door technician in the landing gear area noticed two men who appear to be from Signal 7 and advised that they were not moving in the landing gear area,” a message on the radio of the landing gear reportedly said. Broward County Sheriff’s Office around 11:26 p.m., according to the outlet.

Finally, the media reports that the men’s bodies were “severely decomposed”.
