Regarding the moments of makeup, well-executed eyeliner looks tend to be among the coolest and most transformative.
“The lining is clear, graphic, dramatic, often offbeat of shape, which means that it can really transform a shape of the eyes,” explains Jo Baker, famous makeup artist. “The creation of an optical illusion is facilitated if you have the right skills.”
She is right: a wing of the lining can open and extend the eye, while the whites applied along the flotation line can create an effect in doe eyes. Add to these different pallets, distinct or softer details, and the triet option, and the humble pencil (or pen) becomes a magic make -up baguette. The lining plays well alone and with shadows and eyelashes, acting as an autonomous and remarkable detail or a means of italics an entire aesthetic.
For his part, Baker – a Go -To for Daisy Edgar -Jones, Lucy Boynton and Olivia Wilde – aggravates everything that is feline or 1960, inspired by mod. “These looks are all about femininity, but in a badass and cool-girl way, which is forever fashionable in my book,” she says.
The application tools and the tips abound, but Baker considers that the corner sponge of the classic company is the BFF of the ultimate lining. “It is the old school and certainly the opposite of the styles of beloved beauty mixer that was so popular,” she said. “But the classic edge, when it is humid, gives you the invisible formatting tool perfect for obtaining these very sharp and elongated lines.”
Although old and new trends, can inspire your eye-linking look, your own eyes can also. Take a few minutes to analyze your eyes, better to determine what type of lining will best improve your eyes.
