11-year-old girl’s narrow escape as dogs chase her in Ghaziabad

Several incidents of dog attacks have been reported in recent months
Ghaziabad:
It was a narrow escape for an 11-year-old who was chased by a pack of stray dogs in Ghaziabad earlier this week.
The incident, which was caught on CCTV, was reported by the Ramprastha Green Society in Vaishali of Ghazibad on Thursday.
The video, which has now gone viral on social media, shows the girl running towards her company as dogs aggressively pursue her. A dog then jumps on the girl and grabs her t-shirt.
Luckily, she manages to enter society before the dogs harm her. As she walks into her company, two security personnel run outside to chase the dogs away.
Several incidents of dog attacks have been reported in residential companies in Delhi-NCR over the past few months.
Noida authority has recently formulated a pet policy. Under the new guidelines, pet owners must register their dogs or cats by January 31, 2022 or risk a fine. In case of injury caused by pet dogs or cats, a penalty of Rs 10,000 will be imposed.
