Second period: Riley singles and Riley escapes but Cruz scores another takedown and releases Riley for a 6-2 lead. Cruz hits a header on the inside shot and converts with 12 seconds left for a 9-2 lead at the break.

Third period: Cruz chooses neutral. Riley gets to a single but Cruz fights back and a stalemate is called. Cruz hits another header to the inside single and converts with 52 seconds left for a 12-3 after an escape. Cruz stretches out for a shot as Riley is draped on top and can’t hide as time expires.
