A teenager was killed and two others injured after a fight among the students led to a deadly stabbing outside the Santa Ana high school on Wednesday afternoon, police announced. Two suspects remain in freedom.
The agents of the Santa Ana police department responded to information reporting a stab at the entrance to the school around 3:25 p.m., three victims, described as boys aged 14 to 17, were transported to local hospitals, said Natalie Officer Garcia, spokesperson for the department.
One of the boys was in critical condition and died afterwards of his injuries, and the other two were in a stable state, said Garcia. The names of the victims were not released.
Two suspects, also considered as male students from the school, fled the scene. The Santa Ana police police and the police officers of the Santa Ana school established a perimeter in the surroundings and were looking for students.
Public members are invited to stay away from school, and anyone with information on the attack is asked to call the Santa Ana police service to (714) 245-8049.
