A person died and 32 were hospitalized on the morning of Mother’s Day after a fiery accident between a tourist bus and a SUV on the 60 highway.
The authorities were sent to Hacienda Heights at 5:07 am when they arrived at the scene, the SUV was already engulfed in the flames, according to the fire service of the County of Los Angeles.
The flames were not spread on the bus, officials said. One person was declared dead on the scene and 32 people were transported to hospital, with at least two in critical condition.
According to the California Highway Patrol, three tracks on the west of Azusa avenue is closed for an unknown period as the survey continues, according to the California Highway Patrol.
