One person died and four people were seriously injured in a July 4 shooting at a residence in Kenosha, Wis., police said.
The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. at a home in the 6300 block of 25th Avenue when authorities responded to reports of a shooting in the home and encountered a “chaotic scene with clear evidence of multiple gunshots.” fire fired,” according to a statement. released by the Kenosha City Police Department.
“There were five victims of this shooting, all adults,” authorities continued. “One of the victims died. The other four victims were transported to local hospitals and two were transferred to Milwaukee area hospitals with serious injuries.
At this time, the Kenosha Police Department said there are no known motives, no suspects in custody and the investigation into the shooting is “open and active.”
